The essentials course covers the core post graduate skin cancer medicine education for doctors working in general practice. The course focuses on key skills, diagnostic essentials and safe practice.

Procedures covered in this workshop include: curettage, cryotherapy, cautery, punch biopsy, shave biopsy, elliptical excision and incisional biopsy. Surgical procedures are reinforced with the opportunity to practice techniques on pigs trotters.

RACGP  This workshop is a CPD Accredited Activity. Upon completion, delegates will be eligible for 40 CPD points. Activity number: TBA

When available, Dr. Alex Nirenberg  will contribute a lecture to this program.

The five day flap / graft workshop is recommended for those wishing to progress beyond this 2 day program.
